6. Business and Professional Sellers
Professional or commercial sellers should accurately represent their commercial status where required by applicable law and AntiqList requirements.

7. Listing Accuracy
Every listing should accurately describe the item being offered.

otherwise historically significant.

10. Uncertain Attribution
Where authenticity, maker, date, origin, or attribution is uncertain, sellers should clearly communicate the uncertainty.

Terms such as "attributed to," "in the style of," "possibly," or "circa" should be used accurately and not as a method of disguising uncertainty.

11. Age Claims

Modern reproductions must not be presented as genuine historical objects.

12. Artificial Aging
Sellers must disclose relevant artificial aging, artificial patina, distressing, or other processes that materially affect the item's appearance or perceived age.

15. Composite Items
Items assembled from components originating from different periods or sources should be described accurately.

Sellers must not represent a composite object as entirely original when material components are modern replacements or additions.

16. Provenance
Sellers must provide truthful provenance information.

missing components;
restoration; or
other material characteristics.

cracks;
chips;
breaks;
